Is Ajith the next Super Star?

Thala Ajith questioned about who is the next Super star in one of those rare interviews, Ajith answered???. Ajith's fan base site published the interview. He mentioned that he considers Rajini as the superstar and that it will always be the same for him.

"It is in the hands of fans to bestow upon the title to someone after Rajinikanth. I do not want to comment on that. I am pretty focused on my job and will go as far as my job takes me. I also do not want to talk about others," Quoted added Ajith.

Recently Ajith made a open statement when a media person interviewed him about who is the next Superstar.
Ajith stated 'i will always say that Rajinikanth sir as the only Superstar of Indian Cinema and i think that no one can replace his title'.

When asked whether he can think someone else in the Superstar's place, for which Ajith intervened and said 'No i am just focusing on delivering one film each year and personally i won't prefer to any titles that's why i even withdrew the Ultimate Star title.
Also i don't want to talk about others who are looking forward to the title.

Battle Begins Dhanush v/s STR – Twitter

The old rivalry between Dhanush and STR has surfaced again, this time on Twitter.

Bollywood actors indulging in twitter battleshave been happening at regular intervals. Recently Farah Khan's husband and filmmaker Sirish Kundar had made sarcastic digs at Shah Rukh Khan through his Twitter account, which led to a showdown between them at a Mumbai hotel.
Early today morning Dhanush`s video `Sachin Anthem` for Sachin Tendulkar made by the energy drink Boost which was premiered on Youtube yesterday (Feb 9) was removed for copyright infringement.
Dhanush had tweeted at that time : "Some people smile at other people's misery. I smile right back at them for not knowing the purpose of being a human being. It's called love. God bless."
A few hours later the video was back on Youtube after Dhanush took legal steps torestore it.
Meanwhile Simbu aka STR who was in US, still busy with his 'Love Anthem' , tweeted : "Copy Adikaradhula Chinaava Vida Bayangarama Irrukangaley !!!" Later Dhanush tweeted : "I did the song for free brother. Boost paid for the production of the audio andvideo, and thanks for all your prayers. God bless."
Suddenly STR went philosiphical by tweeting – " Actually none of us in this world have an enemy ! Success introduces you to the world, but defeat introduces the world to you !!!"

Vikram takes on Surya

Two of thesuperstars of Tamil film industry are ready to clash on small-screen. The duo, who was seen together in award winning film Pithamagan, will be in the war of TRPs in the coming months. Yes, Vikram and Surya, the two actors known for varieties, will be hosting television game shows soon.

It is well-known that Surya is making his small-screen debut with Neengalum Vellalam Oru Kodi, the Tamil version of Kaun Banega Crorepati. Now, a popular channel has approached Vikram to host a similar kind of game show, which tests participant's general knowledge.
It is reported that Vikram, who is fully busy with his films, is keen to take up the project but the actor is not sure whether he can allot the required number of dates for the show and devote himself for the TV program.

Vijay was present at a special screening of Nanban held at Thanga Regal theatre in Madurai much to the joy of his fans. He distributed gifts and a feast was prepared for a group of mentally challenged people and served. Vijay also addressed his fans and shared his Nanban experiences.
Sathyaraj, Shankar, Srikanth, Jiiva and Sathyan are all wonderful people and it was great to work with them, Vijay said. He said that it was a dream come true for him to work with Sathyaraj.The actor also dropped in at Apsara theatre in Virudhunagar. Because of the strike, shooting has been stalled and Vijay is using the time off to connect with his dear fans.

Dhanush reasons out ’3′s delay

'3′ is one film that is eagerly looked forward to by those throughout the country. The film was wrapped quite some time back and hasn't yet hit the screens. Reasoning out the delay, Dhanush expressed that '3′ will hit the screens by March end or will be an April release and expressed that the film is delaying as it's a national release, remember its releasing simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi?
The film is a romantic musical that sees Dhanush and Shruti Haasan as lovers in three stages of life. Music is by Anirudh and the film is directed by Aishwarya Dhanush. Dhanush is promoting this film aggressively with innovative marketing strategies as it's his pet project.
Speaking on the Sachin Anthem, he says, "The song is in English cause I wanted people from all parts of India to understand it since it's about Sachin. The song was not made for any purpose other than my love for Sachin and I did whatever I know in it, and that's not much", he signs off.

Ileana D'Cuz in trouble again!

Ileana D'Cuz is probably the only one actress among the current A-listers, who has been time and again landing in controversies. The Goan beauty has been now dragged into troubled waters by producer Mohan Natarajan for her unprofessional behaviour.

The producer has filed a complaint against Ileana at Producers' Council alleging that she has not refunded the advance amount of Rs 40 lakhs, which she took to act in his last year film Deiva Thirumagal. He claims that the actress signed to act in his movie but as the plans in the crew changed, the Nanban girl could not act. She was later replaced by Anushka Shetty.

He further adds that Ileana has been refusing to pay his advance amount complaining that they wasted her dates. Mohan Nataranjan concludes that Ileana has not even taken part in single photo shoot and how could she refuse to payback his money.

Asin replaced Katrina in Kamal Hassan film!

It was earlier reported that Katrina Kaif has been considered to play the female lead in Shankar's multi-lingual with Kamal Haasan (Tamil), Mohanlal (Malayalam) and Prabhas (Telugu). But grapevine is now abuzz that the filmmaker is now toying with the idea of casting Asin as the lead lady in this magnum opus!
